CID - Purified Water System Upgrade for Pharma Compliance
- An upgrade of the Purified Water Station was carried out, covering both the generation unit and the distribution piping system within the facility.
- The piping network was fabricated from 316L stainless steel in compliance with pharmaceutical hygienic standards, with proper slopes implemented to ensure full drainage and avoid stagnant water. The system was also equipped with sanitary valves and strategically placed sample points to maintain consistent water quality monitoring across the loop.
- For control, the station was provided with an advanced automation and control system based on PLC and SCADA interface, enabling comprehensive monitoring and operation. The system manages distribution pumps, continuously tracks key quality parameters such as conductivity, TOC, flow, pressure, and temperature, and generates alarms in case of deviations.
- This upgrade has improved the reliability and flexibility of the purified water system, ensuring a continuous and compliant supply of pharmaceutical-grade water to production areas.
