RO-EDI (Electrodeionization)
An RO-EDI station is a water purification system that combines reverse osmosis with Electrodeionization. The process uses an ion exchange resin that exchanges positively charged ions for H+ ions and negatively charged ions for OH ions. This effectively removes all impurities, including pathogens and other contaminants. The RO-EDI process produces high-purity water and is commonly used in the pharmaceuticals industry and power generation plants.
